We’re excited to announce some big additions to Quakes Epicenter for the MLS 2021 season.
First, The Aftershock made its return on April 14, 2021, as a regular, interactive web show with related audio podcasts that will support a variety of media needs for San Jose Earthquakes fans of all kinds. Live, interactive shows will support pre- and postgame content for all home games and most away games. In addition, Quakes Epicenter writers and personalities will be creating additional recorded content such as special guests, interviews, and more for the Quakes Epicenter YouTube channel and related audio podcasts. If media travel is permitted this season, we hope to bring you information directly from a few away games on the West Coast.
As we announced previously, Alex Morgan, now in his seventh season covering the Earthquakes, joins Quakes Epicenter from Quakes Talk as editor and will be a regular co-host on The Aftershock shows in addition to producing content for the Quakes Epicenter site. Alex is credentialed media for press conference coverage. Alex is also a co-host on the Black and Azul show and podcast.
Aaron Morgan joins as Producer for The Aftershock and will also be providing photography for the Quakes Epicenter website and Patreon offering, as well as graphics for The Aftershock shows. Aaron is credentialed media as a sideline photographer.
Robert Jonas, now in his fourteenth year covering the San Jose Earthquakes, returns for his second season and his first full season as a senior writer supporting Quakes Epicenter feature content and will be a frequent co-host of The Aftershock. Robert is credentialed media for press conference coverage.
Phillip Leyva, now in his eighth season with the Quakes After 90 podcast, joins the Quakes Epicenter team as a host for The Aftershock.
Colin Entire, now in his sixth year covering the Earthquakes and original creator and host of The Aftershock podcast, continues as a senior writer working on feature content, including his famous salary spreadsheet, and will be a frequent co-host of The Aftershock in its new format.
Asher Kohn, now in his fourth year covering the Earthquakes, continues as a feature writer and editor, as well as a tactical analyst for Quakes Epicenter.
Carlon (Carl) Carpenter, Tactical and Video Analyst at StatsBomb, will be joining The Aftershock periodically as an analyst to provide tactical analysis and also support Quakes Epicenter staff with his insight, videos, and charts. Carl is also a frequent podcast guest on various soccer podcasts and is a contributor for American Soccer Analysis.
Jamon Moore, now in his fourth year covering the Earthquakes, continues as an analyst and runs the Patreon offering and associated Slack for patrons. Jamon will be a regular co-host on The Aftershock. Jamon is credentialed media for press conference coverage. Jamon is also a co-host on the Black and Azul show and podcast, as well as a contributor for American Soccer Analysis.
