Down To 10 Men, Dragons Take 3 Points And Clean Sheet At Fresno Fuego

Friday night, at Chukchansi Park in downtown Fresno, the San Jose Earthquakes U23 affiliate Burlingame Dragons took on the Fresno Fuego to kick off the USL PDL season. After an eventful offseason with changes in the front office and on the pitch, the Dragons seem poised to make a deep run in the PDL Playoffs this year. Under head coach Eric Bucchere, the Dragons only lost one game in their long preseason, and it seems they have continued their form into the regular season. The Dragons took a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal on a slicing through ball to returning Dragon Jamael Cox. Despite going down a man in the 60th minute, the Dragons kept their clean sheet and took home three points. They now head south to LA to take on the Los Angeles Laguna.
