Quakes Set To Announce Kit Sponsor Next Tuesday

After a long wait, the San Jose Earthquakes finally have a new kit sponsor. Reliable sources have confirmed to us that Northern California based Sutter Health will take the unfilled space on the Quakes kit starting this season.

Sutter Health is a not-for-profit health care company that employs 48,000 people, in hospitals and centers in more than 100 cities in Hawaii and California. To Quakes fans in the Bay Area, the Palo Alto Medical Foundation may sound more familiar, which is a branch of Sutter Health.

In an interview with the Sacramento Bee, the new CEO of Sutter Health Sarah Krevans was asked how she planned on using new medical technologies, and responded as so:

“We have the privilege of living and working in one of most innovative areas of the world, Silicon Valley. We just (hired) our first chief innovation officer. Part of his role is to work with people who have good ideas inside the organization and also partner with outside organizations who may be experts in their technological area but don’t know how to make their ideas work in health care. A lot of people are developing apps for health care, but then are puzzled why nobody uses them.” – READ MORE (Sac Bee)

There has been speculation since the beginning of the 2015 season, including a few leaked concept designs of companies like Stryker, but it seems the wait is over.
